About Us!!!
We are different from your traditional tuner like Cobb, Vishnu, Vivid
Racing (they sell their product under the name Agency Power) etc and do
not compete directly with them. Tuners sell “installation”
and “product”. Many tuners make a lot of their money
on the installation. We teach/promote how to do the installation yourself.
Tuners have their own product packages/stages. They will tell you that
their “system”, using only their parts, gives you the “best”
solution and if you use somebody else’s stuff, you are “stupid”
and/or “up a creek”. Let’s be honest …while it
is true that their packages are great solutions, they are also loosing
money if you don’t buy their system…it’s what they sell.
In the real world of selling, beware of people who try to use classic
FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt…a classic sales tool). Ask yourself,
do they have their best interests in mind or mine?
You can “mix-n-match” if done properly. For example, you
could combine an Invidia, Helix, APS, Borla HUSH or other exhaust with
a a Cobb AccessPortECU, Unichip, UTEC, etc. Yes, you may be missing that
last 1 hp promised by the tuner…but you did get the exhaust look
and sound you wanted…and you saved a TON of cash.
Don’t think for a minute that we are bashing Traditional Tuners.
It’s because of them that there are so many great products out there.
Most tuners are great and can get your ride singing quickly and usually
without a hitch. If we were running a race team and had the funds to hire
someone like Cobb, we would (Trey Cobb and Shiv/Vishnu are that good)!
However, this site was started because most people don’t have the
cash, time, or can travel to take their car to a tuner.
Perhaps a more accurate name for this site would be “SCOOBY TUNERS”,
since this is a community where the average Joe Enthusiast comes to get
the knowledge/wisdom and parts of tune his own car.
What is the old saying…”give a man a fish and you feed him
for one day…teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life!”
We want to teach you how to fish…or rather, tune your current vehicle
and your new ones in the future.
What do we expect in return? We want you to “pay it forward”
and help others by contributing back to the community with your tips,
tricks, likes, dislikes, etc. We also know that it is simple to come here
for “free” knowledge and then purchase your modifications
elsewhere (especially, where we give you the name/location of installers
in your area). Before you make that purchase from someone else, give use
a chance to earn your business…hopefully, you will find our willingness
to help, “free information”, great products, and honesty a
great value.
Warranty Policy
All Performance Parts Cartrucktuner, LLC. offers on our
Website are 100% Warranted by the Manufacturer of the Performance Part.
Cartrucktuner,LLC. will assist you in any warranty claim by providing
you and/or the manufacturer with contact information, copies of invoices,
and notes regarding troubleshooting conversations. Cartrucktuner,LLC.,does
not provide or fulfill any warranty on any product.
All merchandise is subject to the manufacturer's warranty and therefore
all warranty claims are at the manufacturer's discretion. All warranted
items must be returned in accordance with the manufacturer's policy,
see the product manufacturer's web site for their policy. It is the
responsibility of the customer and/or installer to verify the correct
size and application of the parts before installation. No warranty whatsoever
will be given if the defect was caused by customer or installer abuse,
negligence, mishandling, or improper installation. Customers will be
responsible for all shipping and handling fees. No labor or inconvenience
may be included in any warranty claims.

Shipping Policy
How long does Shipping Normally take?
This greatly depends on the shipping service level that you picked upon
your cart check out. It all comes down to how fast you need it. Please
take into account that UPS does not work on Weekends or Major Holidays.
Turn Around Time
90% of orders that contain items “In Stock” that are placed
before 4pm MST / 6PM EST ship out the same day. Items that are listed
as “Usually Ships in 2-3 Days” ETC! Usually do ship in the
allotted amount of time. Our customer service representatives monitor
the backorders daily to insure your order is shipped as fast as possible.
Please Note:
There are situations where the Credit Card Transaction fails to settle
into our Company Bank Account in a timely manner, in this situation
the order will be processed and shipped as soon as the funds from the
Transaction Settle into our Company Bank Account.
Please understand, this process is out of our control and is completely
dependent upon the Bank issuing the Credit Card.

USPS.
Fedex and USPS may at our discression be used for shipping when the
item is being shipped directly from the manufacturer or when orders
are being shipped Internationally.
