Fast cars, and good times at Miller Motorsports Park!

GT Live! Any one who has heard of GT Live knows that it is good times to be had by all! What can be better than an afternoon filled with clean air, sunshine, and the roar of 500hp Subaru's, EVO's, Porsche's and other makes of cars flying down the Miller Motorsport Park at 100+ mph!? Exactly... nothing (well except being in the driver seat of course ;-) )!

Miller Motorsports Park in Toole, UT is an impressive facility out in the Flatlands of Utah that is home to a World Class track that some people only dream of being able to visit and be a part of.

GT live was held April 28-29 from 7am untill 8pm and was sponsored by Cobb Tuning, Cusco, and SubieSport Magazine to name a few. There were many events lasting all day from Tarzan's Lap Battle, to Drift Demo's to the Red Line Time Attack experience.

The Cars that were there were simply AMAZING! These are the cars that you read about in magazines, see on the net or in videos and dream about and seeing them in person is a dream come true. What was even better than seeing them was hearing them scream past you at 100 mph. The Porsche's that were there would make your ears hurt they were so loud!

Prior to this I had only seen driftcars on T.V. and in the movies and I thought they were cool, but in person, it's completely different. It was so cool to see them sliding sideways down the track. The amazing thing is how "in control" they were. Who would have thought that cars could be controlled so well that you could slide them AND keep it under control. Anybody can get a car to slide, but it takes a professional to do it right and to make it look good.

There was even a section of track was open to anybody who had registered thier car prior to the event to race thier car. We were going to do it but didn't sign up in time so hopefully GT Live will come again so we can get out there and tear it up!

Overall, GT Live is a great event to get out to if you ever get a chance. It's great to take the family out to see the cars and to participate in the many side events that are there because of the sponsors. I can't wait untill next time we can go and see those awesome cars again and hopefully get some track time!
