Subaru USA Rally Champ dies
Mark Lovell & his co-driver Roger Freeman killed in Rally

Tragedy struck SRTUSA during the Oregon Trail Rally on Saturday when, shortly after beginning Stage 1, the rally car of driver Mark Lovell and co-driver Roger Freeman struck a tree.

Although both Subaru drivers were quickly attended to by on-site medical staff, neither team members survived the collision.

The stage was immediately stopped and subsequently canceled. In observance of the tragedy, SRTUSA withdrew its other car from the event.

The entire Subaru family along with partners Prodrive and Pirelli extend our deepest sympathies to the friends, family and fans of Mark and Roger.
