Subaru of America drop a bomb on the US Market. Be prepared to be blown away!
After initially setting pricing expectations of US $32-34,000 for the American Market STi, US enthusiasts rejoiced when Subaru announced 300 hp/300 ft-lbs torque from a specially tuned version of the 2.5 Liter engine!
Just as shocking was the inclusion of the DCCD (Driver Control Center Differential)...especially in the light that Mitsubishi deemed their DCCD system too expensive for the US EVO 8.
Everyone expected the STi to cost more with the added goodies.
Now Subaru is prepared to blow you away one more time BEFORE you get blown away by driving the ultimate Factory WRX.
$30,995 + Destination
Sure, that doesn't include the indash 6-disc cd changer. But, it does include power windows, locks, air conditioning, killer seats, and everything else.
More importantly, the STi is cheaper than 30K + 5-10K dealer market they are charging for the EVO.
